"When I asked [Hillary Clinton] if the tour had tired her, confessing that it had exhausted me, she said that getting out and talking with people, especially people who are “struggling against incredible odds but have hope and optimism and the feeling that they can make progress together” was “invigorating,” even “thrilling.” Attending a fancy dinner party, however, “where everyone sits around being cynical and pessimistic while they’re enjoying the highest standard of living known in the history of humankind—that I find exhausting."
Last Day of High School
Today was my last day of high school.
It’s kind of strange; I’m not mourning the loss of high school, yet at the same time I’m not exuberantly celebrating the end either. There are so many things I won’t miss. Yet so many people I will.
I told my friend that it probably won’t hit until exams and grad are over. I don’t think it’s really sunk in yet.
But I can’t wait to see what this big world has to offer.
